Painter and miniaturist unique and very rare to meet, Pizio completed his studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Turin under the guidance of Giacomo Grosso, continued his studies in Paris with Eugène Carrière. His debut at the Exhibition of Decorative Arts in Turin in 1902 showing a vocation to the symbolism sensitive to the influence of Art Nouveau. Later he exhibited with frequency at the Artists of Turin and the Promotion of Fine Arts in the same city. Spirit reserved, introverted and secluded, portraits and female figures of delicate intimacy and well executed painting. His paintings are preserved in the Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art of Turin.
