This is a welcoming space which was once the ancient courtyard of the building. Here children can stop to draw and colour whilst the adults can visit the museum and look through a book.
There is a wide range of publications regarding the Museum, Sculpture and the local area. Many of the books have been edited by the Museum itself.
In addition to books for our younger visitors we also have two special publications: a book of puzzles called Casserotherapy entirely dedicated to the Museum, and the comic strip featuring Gastone Brilli Peri who introduces the numerous activities of Il Cassero to the reader.
There are also a number of souvenirs to choose from suitable for art lovers of all ages. There are personalized items with the Museum logo and/or images of the works from the permanent exhibitions. There are objects made by artists, artisans and small Italian and Tuscan companies. In choosing the items particular care was taken to make sure that the articles respect the principles of environmental and social sustainability.
These include the bags and accessories by Malefatte Venezia, the unique creations like the numbered photographs by Bruno Cattani, the jewels by Stella Battaglia and the ceramics by Studio Nautilus.
